Industrial Measurement App (the “App”) uses the device camera solely to scan QR codes for identifying machines and related assets. No camera images or video are stored or transmitted by the App.

Data We Collect

• Camera Access: Used to read QR codes in real time. Frames are processed in memory and are not saved.
• Measurement Data: Measurements you enter may be stored locally on the device and/or sent to your organization’s backend as configured by your administrators.
• Network Information: Used to determine connectivity status to safely sync data.

How We Use Data

• To identify machines from QR codes to streamline data entry.
• To store and sync measurement data with your organization’s systems.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with your organization’s systems as part of normal operation.

Data Retention

Camera frames are not retained. Measurement data is retained according to your organization’s policies.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest where applicable.

Your Choices

• You can deny camera permission; QR scanning will be unavailable but other features may continue to work.
• You can request deletion of locally stored data by clearing the app data on your device.
